As co-Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director I welcome you to our online magazine centered around the arts and cultural life. Here at Harts our main objective is to enrich people with different views and perspectives of the world that surrounds us; be it through art, culture, prose, music or drama.
In the media-centralized society we live in, it is crucial for us to take a step back and truly admire beauty in all its glory. Miruna and I, alongside all of our other Department Editors and Writers, aim to create a unique online magazine, just one click away, on which you will be able to find everything that interests you.
From make-up to architecture and from acting to photography we have got it all covered. We will bring you the most recent cultural events that take place in Bucharest, the top hits, the newest artists and everything else that can be entitled ‘art’.
We envision our magazine as a threshold through which people who share the same passions as ours can come together and discuss the latest trending topics.
The magazines’ official launch date and hour being just a couple of hours away, I would like to take a moment and give thanks to all the people that made it possible. A bit shout-out to Daniela Bordei who facilitated our eagerness of expression with this opportunity.
I would like to point out that a lot of hard work and time has gone into building this magazine and even more will be put in. We appreciate constructive criticism but we want to avoid negative commentaries at all costs to provide a comforting, pleasing environment for our readers.
After the big launch when we will be releasing a series of articles at 7pm, Harts magazine will be weekly updated with articles for each sub-section.
As one of our aims is to tighten the artistic community together, we invite any reader, if interested in writing for us – be it a one-time thing or periodically – to not hesitate to contact us in the “Contact Us” section of the site. We will get back to you shortly. We ask that those interested to present us an article they have written on any topic as a sample of their writing.
I want to close off by linking this article to our aims. We want Harts to be accessed by as many people as possible who share our views and passions; therefore, we strongly suggest following the magazines’ accompanying Instagram and Facebook profile (Harts Magazine). We will post bits and pieces of information that we update on the main website onto them for you to keep up with our writing
